Bayan Mongolian BBQ is located in beautiful Snoqualmie, Washington. The BBQ Mongolian restaurant is situated on picturesque Snoqualmie Parkway in the vibrant Snoqualmie Ridge neighborhood, minutes from skiing and hiking, world famous Snoqualmie Falls, and many other attractions. From the restaurant, you can see stunning views of nearby Mount Si and other peaks in the Cascade foothills.
Co-owners Vicki Deshaies and her son Mark Fanning—both life-long residents of the greater Seattle area—found this combination of a vibrant community and an attractive natural environment to be key reasons for starting and operating Bayan Mongolian BBQ. Vicki, who lives in Snoqualmie, just minutes away from the restaurant, says it best, “We love it here. This is a great location in a busy, fun neighborhood. We are excited to be part of this community, and to offer our neighbors a refreshing, healthy dining alternative.”
Vicki’s Story
While raising a family of active, sports-oriented children, I was often confronted with a common problem—how do I keep pace with my family’s busy schedule while providing them with healthy, nutritious food? Later, when considering the opportunity to open and operate Bayan Mongolian BBQ , I quickly realized that this type of restaurant helps solve this vexing problem that so many families face. Bayan Mongolian BBQ is the perfect balance between being affordable and convenient, yet serving your family high quality, nutritious, and delicious food. Whether you are dining in or taking out, you can be assured that you won’t be compromising your family’s nutrition for convenience.
Along with being sensitive to the needs of today’s active adults and families, I bring practical experience to Bayan Mongolian BBQ—my varied background includes book keeping, accounting, and setting up and managing restaurants and other business—all essential skills for operating a successful enterprise.
In preparing to open Bayan Mongolian BBQ, one of my closest friends, Lillian, who is of Asian-American descent, shared with me her wealth of knowledge in Northern Chinese cooking. Lillian also helped me design an exciting and varied menu that includes offerings you won’t find in other Mongolian restaurants—including Aunty Lilli’s home made Pot Stickers—one of my personal favorites. Working together with Lillian, we plan to introduce new seasonal dishes and other specials to continuously offer Bayan Mongolian BBQ customers a rich variety of choices. I recently moved to Snoqualmie and I’m excited to share the Bayan Mongolian BBQ experience with my new neighbors and friends.
If you’re visiting Snoqualmie or a long-time resident, please drop by and say hello.
